Opening Session at Hewnoaks

May 23 – May 28, 2026. Opening Session is a focused, hands-on stewardship session designed to welcome more artists and community members into our orbit while helping us prepare the property for the season ahead. It is intentionally structured so that active stewardship work is front-loaded, gradually giving way to more expansive studio time as Hewnoaks wakes up from winter.

August 17 – 21, 2026. Join Rebecca Goodale in this creative artist book workshop at Hewnoaks. Ideal for anyone interested in artist’s books, this workshop will focus on their potential for sharing ideas, stories, and imagery in creative ways. No prior experience is required, and artists at all levels are welcome, from beginners to professionals.
